Brian Peterson is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in operating trust company businesses in British Columbia. He founded Community Western Trust, now Truvera Trust Corporation, and also owns and operates a successful mortgage brokerage firm. Brian's extensive background in banking and trust administration, coupled with his education from the University of Victoria and the University of British Columbia, make him a valuable asset to any organization. He has also served as President of the Mortgage Brokers Association of British Columbia, President of the Mortgage Brokers Institute of British Columbia, and as a Director of Mortgage Professionals Canada.

Samantha Gale is a highly qualified regulatory expert with extensive knowledge in mortgage and real estate issues, lending practices, and finance law and regulation. With a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, specializing in banking and financial law, and a law degree from the University of British Columbia, Samantha has a deep understanding of Financial Transactions, Trusts and Estates. As the former CEO of the Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association - BC and the Mortgage Brokers Institute of BC, she has a wealth of experience in the Canadian mortgage and finance industry. Samantha's expertise shines through in every conversation, making her one of the most knowledgeable figures in the field. She also played a prominent role in the Cullen Commission, advocating for modernized legislation with balanced rules that serve their intended purpose. Much of Samantha's expertise stems from her 15-year stint with the BC Financial Institutions Commission (FICOM, now BCFSA), a regulatory agency of the province’s Ministry of Finance, which gave her the opportunity to take a “deep dive” into various statutes and legal issues.

Frank Chong is an experienced financial services regulatory expert. He is currently the Senior Vice-President, Risk and Finance, at Stabilization Central Credit Union. He works with credit unions on issues pertaining to mergers and acquisitions, risk management, governance, strategy, and regulatory compliance. Frank also held senior executive and advisory roles at the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA), including Vice-President and Deputy Superintendent, Regulation. During his time as a Financial Services Regulator, he managed various financial institutions’ regulation and supervision teams. Frank was accountable for statutory approvals, policy initiatives, risk surveillance, regulatory reporting, supervisory support, and deposit insurance operations. Frank has recently been appointed to the position of chair of the Vancouver Police Board. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Chartered Insurance Professional designation. He is also a PhD (Finance) candidate with Bayes Business School, City, University of London.

Andrew Clauson is an expert in the financial analyses of financial institutions, financial modelling and forecasting, and developing risk mitigation strategies. He earned a Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2014, and started his career at FICOM (now BCFSA) in the Financial Institutions Division as an analyst, supervisor and later a director. He has since worked for a BC credit union developing a program for risk oversight, among other responsibilities, followed by work for private corporations providing guidance and developing architecture for financial analyses programs. Andrew is presently the president of PRO Financial Solutions, managing a team of 10 and leading the execution of the company’s growth strategy.

Andy Bennett brings more than 40 years of commercial underwriting and mortgage lending leadership across Western Canada, with hands-on experience in the administration, governance, and risk oversight that mortgage trusts depend on. As Founder and President of Nexus Investment Corporation (Surrey, BC), Andy has built disciplined, scalable lending operations across British Columbia, the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories, supporting everything from credit adjudication and CMHC-insured underwriting to documentation, compliance, and portfolio stewardship. A licensed mortgage broker and respected industry leader, Andy is known for rigorous underwriting standards, clear risk controls, and strong stakeholder relationships. As a new Director, he adds practical, operator-level insight into mortgage trust administration and prudent fiduciary oversight, helping ensure Veracite programs remain well-governed, transparent, and built for long-term stability.

Stanley Chang, FCPA, FCGA, MBA, is a seasoned Chartered Professional Accountant and senior leader with over 25 years of experience spanning financial services, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and enterprise transformation. Based in Surrey, British Columbia, Stanley has held director-level roles with the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA), leading business process management, product ownership and system integration, deposit insurance operations as CFO, and information management. Known for strategic, practical leadership, Stanley helps organizations strengthen internal controls, improve regulatory outcomes, and deliver measurable operational efficiencies. He has led cross-functional teams through process improvement and change management initiatives, implemented automation to boost productivity and reduce costs, and provided executive-level insight on cost analysis and resource allocation. His work includes directing financial reporting and solvency oversight for deposit insurance operations, managing risk assessments and stress testing, and building stronger compliance workflows through technology and data-driven governance. Stanley holds an MBA from Athabasca University and a B.Sc. in Commerce from Centro Escolar University, and maintains professional certifications including CPA, CISA, and CFP. He is committed to community safety and well-being and brings a steady, stakeholder-focused approach to complex, regulated environments.
